With less than a year of their partnership and through much practice, Audrey Shin and Balazs Nagy, are already starting to have pairs’ elements put together at a competition level. They have had successes throughout the season with a bronze medal at the 2024 Golden Spin Competition and placing 5th at the 2025 US FIgure Skating Championships, which earned them a berth to the 2025 Four Continents Championships. They talk in this episode about how they are able to learn and relearn parts of the pairs’ discipline due to Shin’s transition from singles skating to pairs skating, and what being a truly good pairs’ partner entails. They also speak on how they handle nerves right before a competition, and their musical tastes.
